Our 2nd descent on the City of Los Angeles is just one week away! That’s right, next Saturday the 18th DC will be there for King of Los Angeles, the biggest amateur street skateboarding contest around. $10,000 in cash and prizes will be up for grabs!
The concept of the King of series is to hold contests at real street spots, letting each city’s best un-sponsored ams battle for the title. King of Los Angeles next weekend will be no different—in one day, two iconic L.A. spots will get sessioned. In the morning we’ll hit Lockwood’s legendary flatground and bank, then later in the day will head over to Belmont’s infamous stair set. Combined results from those two spots will determine the winner and this year’s King of Los Angeles.
Entry to this years King of L.A. is invite only (50 skateboarders). Go to dcshoes.com/kingofla for more on the contest, plus updates, photos, videos, and results as soon as they become available.
